MC Duane Rockwell

As a singer, cabaret artist, master of ceremonies and DJ, Duane Rockwell continues to perform on the function and corporate entertainment circuit. Duane brings a unique blend of professionalism, energy and enthusiasm to any event, and has an innate ability to relax an audience with his warm approach and sense of humour.

 

In the 1990's, Duane Rockwell started making a name for himself performing on the pub and function circuit. It was at this point in his career that Duane got the opportunity to host the television programs "Fast Forward" and "Hot Hits". His professional approach led to him being in demand as a host and MC for corporate functions, fashion shows, beauty pageants, launches and promotions all over South Africa.

 

Duane Rockwell also go the opportunity to become actively involved in the recording industry as a singer and producer. Through his association with M-Net, Duane got the opportunity to work with, and learn from some of the top names in the industry on live television broadcasts around the country. This television exposure led to Duane getting involved in the radio industry as part of the "Solid Gold" radio station and doing voice-overs for both radio and television commercials. Duane continues to be active in this regard.

Duane Rockwell has performed for companies such SAB, ABI, Santam, Hollard, Sanlam, Standard bank, BMW, ABSA, Investec, FNB, Sun International, VW South Africa, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Momentum, Nedcor, PricewaterhouseCoopers, GSK, and all of the major casino groups around the country, to name just a few.
